I Dr. Carmin Uppal have a degree in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and Post Graduate Diploma in Health and Family Welfare (PGDHF) from Panjab University, Chandigarh (India) along with certificate courses in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences from reputed Government Institutions. Being a keen learner, I also possess certification in computer languages.
Having worked with prime Government Institutions like ESIC as an Ayurveda Consultant, gave me an opportunity to widen my horizon of understanding.
After relocating, I founded Ayurveda Healing, an organisation wherein we run a clinic and manage a website.
During all these years of interacting with family, patients and people at home, at work and in the society respectively, I observed a large vacuum when it came to having appropriate knowledge about diet and lifestyle.
People hardly know what they are eating, what are the properties and actions of food and the impact of lifestyle on health and overall well being. This makes them an early and easy prey to gigantic lifestyle disorders like diabetes, stroke, heart disease and cancer to name a few.
Our website regularly publishes workable blogs under Diet, Lifestyle, Health and Disease sections. We aim to make every individual equipped with scientific and appropriate know how to lead a healthy life entire basis of which is rooted to Ayurveda.
Here, we strive to see Ayurveda through the prism of the modern day world and device solutions accordingly.
We foresee an era, where the masses are equipped with fine scientific knowledge about food and lifestyle and its subtle effect on a daily basis leading to a significant impact on health over time.
People should be aware of disease prevention and how to overcome a diseased state by fine-tuning diet and lifestyle, and if required, taking medicines as per the doctor’s prescription.
Let us all come together and join hands to form an era of Health Sustainability where healthy diet and lifestyle habits are passed on from one generation to the next, via logical thinking and progressive approach. Let us come above caste and creed and follow a religion called “HEALTH”.
